Where the numbers come from
Every price on this site was read from the vendor's own page or help centre, never from a software directory. Four of the directories that rank for these queries currently contradict each other on the same products, which is most of the reason these pages exist.
When a price cannot be verified in a primary source, it is not published. It is listed as unverified, with what the directories claim and why we do not repeat it. Several vendors render their pricing in JavaScript, which means no search engine can read it either.
Every page carries the date it was read. Not the date it was published, and not the date of the last edit: the date somebody actually looked.
Where the call sheet knowledge comes from
Mustyn reads existing call sheets and turns them into a day you can send. Making that work meant reading real production documents closely enough to describe, field by field, what a call sheet contains — and discovering how much of it is not standard at all.
The guides on this site come out of that work. When one of them says a general crew call is optional, or that “catering” names the caterer rather than the lunch hour, it is because a real document taught us that, usually by breaking something.
Corrections
If a figure here is wrong or out of date, tell us on the contact page and it gets fixed, with the date on the page updated. That includes vendors: if we have your pricing wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
